Lan Pham - Graduate Student

Lan joined the Su Lab in August 2020. She received her B.S. in Chemistry with a minor in Biology at St. John’s University. She worked with Dr. Enju Wang to analyze the fluorescence properties of osmium and ruthenium porphyrin complexes and Dr. Carlos Chavez in applying electrochemistry in the synthesis of sugar molecules. Along the way, she realized her inclination for material sciences and decided to join Su Lab to make silicon fluorescent probes for super-resolution microscopy. Besides chemistry, Lan loves to learn about random facts and discover exotic food wherever she travels.
